Dr. Belo’s growing up years:

Vicki Belo is absolutely obsessed with beauty. She raves about the book “Survival of the Prettiest: The Science of Beauty” by Harvard anthropologist Nancy Etcoff, which explains people’s attraction to such assets as large breasts and a good butt as mechanisms for perpetuating the species.

As a kid, she was already into dressing up and playing makeover, having overcome a weight problem as a child. “In fact, I had this traumatic experience when I was in my BS Psychology course at the University of the Philippines,” Belo recounts. “I’m not beautiful, but I’m cute, and sometimes that’s better because people think you’re more approachable. So when I was in third year college, sexy din ako, and all these guys were carrying my books and paying attention to me.”

Dr. Belo and her boyfriend:

Last April 30, Dr. Vicki Belo, proprietor of the Belo Medical Group, and her boyfriend, Dr. Hayden Kho, Jr., were spotted at the Zara Summer Fashion Show held at the Rockwell Tent, Makati City.

The lovebirds were not only seen enjoying the show, but also enjoying each other’s company.

A photographer asked if he could take a picture of the couple. The doctor to the stars readily agreed.
